[So it's been a year-- a little over a year, really-- since Ingo showed up in Luceti. A year away from Gear Station and his duties as a Subway Boss. Has he really been getting used to this different schedule for that long? Sure, Luceti turned him into his precious subway once, but that was different (and entirely uncalled for, and landed him with a really odd scar), and only made things worse. To be away from Gear Station--not to mention his coworkers and Pokemon-- for so long...
As much as he'd like to mend his situation and return to Nimbasa, there's nothing he can do but get frustrated and homesick. But feeling that way for too long can take a toll on someone, so even if the fixes available are superficial and temporary at best, he may as well try.]
[So Ingo got up early today to head over to the Battle Dome for the day and program one of its rooms to simulate the Battle Subway. While it's very much a regular subway in most respects, and just walking right in wouldn't harm or disturb anything or anyone, watching the scene inside the subway car unfold will show that it's more of a vehicle to carry Pokemon battles in.
Though he is the Subway Boss, and usually waits in the front of the train for challengers to aproach him, Ingo will be going through the cars himself, battling with his Pokemon team against various simulations of Trainers and all kinds of Pokemon (especially Unova-native ones). Thosegameverse Trainers used to seeing Subway battles will notice that these ones are a little rougher than the norm, however, with the simulated Trainers participating in the fight themselves, their style (and Ingo's) matching up a little more closely to the hands-on battling style used by Silver, Gold and others from that universe.
While people can just walk right onto the subways if they please, Ingo will frequent the Battle Dome's control room and vending machines on and off, healing his Pokemon or reprogramming the Subway specifics or otherwise taking a break, and he can be approached there as well by the curious!]

...Aaand upon spotting Ingo outside by the vending machines taking a break or something, Cilan immediately comes right on over to greet him.]
Hello Ingo! Is your training with your Pokemon going well today? [Yes he assumes that's what you're here for because really what else does anyone come here for.]
no subject
Cilan, greetings. [SALUTATIONS!! He looks a little winded, so it would make sense to ask that... and yes, why else would anyone be in the dome.] Well enough; it's certainly comforting to do so in more familiar environments, as well.

Oh? [Well that's nice--wait.] Does that mean you've made a simulation of the Battle Subway that's to your liking?

[translation: come admire trains with him do it do it do it]

Oh, yes, we'd love to! It would be such a wonderful taste to get to see them~!
[seriously look at him sparkling now we really wanna see your battle subway simulation please please please]

Excellent. [FROWN-SMILE. he's not quite the anime boss cilan knew, but... he can be cheerful too!] This way, then, if you're ready?
[TO THE SUBWAY ROOM? YES??]

he may have forgotten what he initially came here on his own for]Yes, of course! Please, lead the way! [if you thought Cilan was sometimes overly cheerful about stuff before, will you really be prepared for what he's like once he actually sees it--he's even following along behind the Subway Boss like an excited puppy to the subway room...] I can't wait to see how it looks--though, I'm sure it'll have a faithful flavor of adaption to it in recreating the station as close as possible to the original, and the lines being exciting to battle upon as well...
[warning: if you think his rambling is something now, it might get worse (or better???) once they go inside...]

nothing is important in the face of TRAINS]It is certainly as accurate as I believe I could attain... but a second opinion is always welcome.
[and true to his word, the place basically looks like the real thing!! just a little smaller. BUT THE TRAINS ARE RENDERED IN THEIR FULL GLORY AS BEFITTING OF TRAINS IN THE BATTLE SUBWAY]

Well okay it's technically fantasy because this isn't the real Battle Subway and those aren't real trains, but judging from how entranced he is by it, they might as well be. Just look at how happy he is as he's oohing and aahing at them, having already moved from behind Ingo (one second he was here and then he was suddenly over there now, it's like he just teleported that's how fast he's already moved to look at stuff 0_0) to look at one of the trains closest to them now, rambling even more than usual.]
Oh, they're beautiful, just like the real thing--it's like as if we stepped out of Luceti and into the magnificent underground railway of Nimbasa City~! [Eee~!!] It's been quite a while since I last got to see these types of trains [or any trains for that matter] but they appear to have an accurate flavor in appearance to the actual ones they're modeled from--oh! I know this one--it uses a fewer number of components that allow it to move more efficiently along the tracks, a step-up from it's predecessors that had to use more to achieve the same effect. Plus, it's thrifty design was inspired by the cars of another model that had a smooth and sweet taste to it...yes, this train here could certainly be considered worthy of being compared to it's actual counterpart, it's such a shame that Luceti doesn't have actual lines to travel upon using one of these majestic cars...
[Cilan...Cilan, remember to breathe with all that talking...... OTL]
no subject
but please breathe and don't pass out because otherwise you'd miss all the fun]
Yes, that's exactly the model! [DING DING WE HAVE A WINNER CILAN YOU ARE SO A+] There was a short time when Luceti had a subway, however... while its circumstances at the time were somewhat unacceptable, perhaps a similar structure will emerge in the future, for our benefit.

The key word here is "try".Though the mention of a Luceti-subway does keep him from continuing on with that rambling monologue momentarily.]--Ah, really? [Sounds like that happened before he arrived here, 'cause Cilan definitely wouldn't have forgotten about a subway (of sorts) that was in Luceti...] ...Well, if you say it was an unacceptable taste, then I'll take your word for it.
[Because, you know, obviously the Subway Boss would be right about such things. Turning his attention back towards the train again as he could potentially start rambling again at some point soon--] Even so, it would be great if Luceti had trains--in fact, there are many places that could benefit more from having them, as they truly are a wonderful mode of transportation to travel upon, but at least the subway you've simulated here could be a suitable place for training until then. You did a marvelous job recreating the look and feel of it from what I can see so far...when thinking about it, it almost tastes of nostalgia, even, as I'm sure it's been sometime now since we were last in Nimbasa or elsewhere to see such grand trains to admire...
