[Alrighty. Ingo has since discovered his predicament here, and spent some time figuring it out for himself; panicking in front of people isn't something Ingo usually does and he wasn't about to start, despite... you know, being thrown into who knows where with a pair of wings that would look better on a Pidove. Seriously, what is this?!

While all the information to absorb threatened to give him a headache, recovering his Pokémon calmed him down considerably, not to mention putting on his own clothes. That makes everything all better!

Except wait. Hold that "recovering Pokémon" part.]

Excuse me. [The journal icon reveals a rather sour-looking young man. And what are those things on the side of his face anyway? Sideburns?] Allow me to introduce myself-- I am Ingo, a Subway Boss. One of my Pokémon, Chandelure, has disappeared in favor of exploration; if anyone happens to see it-- [He pauses.]

Ah. [That's right, people here probably don't know what a Chandelure looks like...] Chandelure is... to put it simply, a.... sentient chandelier. Illuminated by fire. He is harmless, I assure you, but I apologize in advance for any possible mischief.

Still, if anyone happens to come across him, please let me know. [He mutters something about this "not being the train track he was expecting" before raising his voice again.] Thank you.

[Chandelure can be found about anywhere, barring perhaps the inside of people's houses... and can be found multiple times, as doubtless it'll wander off more than once.

In the meantime, as he has as much a chance of finding the fiery light fixture here as well as there, Ingo himself will be wandering around town, that disgruntled New Feather look in his eyes and a giant... axeface dragon...dinosaur thing following complacently behind him.]

[Reiko turns at the sound of a person approaching. At least, she thinks he's a person. Those sideburns are a bit much...

But he can see the ayakashi. For just a moment, her eyes narrow. But then her customary cheery smile returns.] Oh no, I haven't been here long.

Yes! The fountain is easy to get to, so, I teleported here.

A sentient chandelier? Interesting. Unfortunately, I cannot say that I have seen it.

[ Helios will be out and about today and when he comes out of the Bakery with delicious freshly made cookies he spots...Chandelure there. He can't exactly say he hasn't seen a sentient chandelier before, because curses and enchantments can do wondrous things, but this? This is most certainly a first. Still he venture closer to it. ] Ah. H-hello there.

[ No wings so it's not a new feather. Perhaps it belongs to someone? ] Are you looking for someone?

[Hey, hey. Crazy sideburns do not an inhuman make!]

Ah, good.... [He frowns severely down at Chandelure, who is the picture of innocence.] I've told you not to wander off. Return.

[INTO THE POKEBALL IT GOES. zoooop all those crazy recall sound effects] Sorry for the trouble; Chandelure happens to be quite curious.

[Well, okay! This is the part where I make this joke.

Ingo isn't too far off- he's nearby in the forest, distracted from his Find Chandelure quest by these squirrel pokémon things he's never seen before. It should take but a minute to find him, and Chandelure happily swoops up to him when they do. This is him, mister psychic type!]

There you are-- ... [His eyebrows raise in mild surprise at Mewtwo. He's never seen a Mewtwo in person, but... he knows that Pokémon. Woah.]

[...and finally, Reiko is legitimately baffled. There is no icon that accurately conveys her level of 'what'.]

Are you an exorcist, then?

[she's never seen a sealing container that works quite like that, but it's the only explanation she can think of.]

Exorcist...? [That's not really a word tossed around much where he's from, so it takes him a moment.]

No, not at all-- I am a Pokémon Trainer. Chandelure isn't a spirit in that sense; he's a Pokémon. [A ghost, but a Pokémon. H...How does he explain this shfdgh] Er, that is... a creature from my world.

[Then... it's not a youkai? But it seemed very much like one... Reiko is thinking, but it isn't showing on her face much.] 'Your world'?

[she hasn't really gotten an explanation yet, sorry Ingo.]

Ah-! [He ends up falling forward, through the ghost (wow that's a weird feeling) and he trips up before catching himself. Acchha.... and he laughs when he recovers, trying to play it cool]

[Well hey! If this guy is going to come closer, Chandelure won't object-- in fact, he'll drift over to Helios himself.

There's a mischievous giggle of some sort at his inquiry, and a headshake "no"; Chandelure's not on the "looking" end of that scenario, but his trainer's probably wandering around for him in vain.

He waves a fiery arm in a question of his own, the gesture directed towards the baked goods. And what are you doing, Mister? Getting cookies?]

Yes; I'm quite fond of him, despite his... wandering tendencies. [Ingo suppresses a sigh.]

[Hoo boy, two new feathers trying to figure things out! Here goes nothing!

As Ingo constantly maintains an expression of displeasure himself, Reiko's similar lack of emotion doesn't faze him too badly.]

Where I lived before I was... transported to this station, one way or another. The same thing happened to you, did it not? [Or are you a local....?]

Well, I don't remember trying to visit this village. [so, a roundabout yes.]

[Jigen has stolen from plenty of museums and has seen more than enough dinosaur models to know that, 1. That is not a normal dinosaur. And 2. There is a DINOSAUR walking behind this strange man. ~~(And 3. He has the stupidest sideburn-things ever.)~~
