[Alrighty. Ingo has since discovered his predicament here, and spent some time figuring it out for himself; panicking in front of people isn't something Ingo usually does and he wasn't about to start, despite... you know, being thrown into who knows where with a pair of wings that would look better on a Pidove. Seriously, what is this?!

While all the information to absorb threatened to give him a headache, recovering his Pokémon calmed him down considerably, not to mention putting on his own clothes. That makes everything all better!

Except wait. Hold that "recovering Pokémon" part.]

Excuse me. [The journal icon reveals a rather sour-looking young man. And what are those things on the side of his face anyway? Sideburns?] Allow me to introduce myself-- I am Ingo, a Subway Boss. One of my Pokémon, Chandelure, has disappeared in favor of exploration; if anyone happens to see it-- [He pauses.]

Ah. [That's right, people here probably don't know what a Chandelure looks like...] Chandelure is... to put it simply, a.... sentient chandelier. Illuminated by fire. He is harmless, I assure you, but I apologize in advance for any possible mischief.

Still, if anyone happens to come across him, please let me know. [He mutters something about this "not being the train track he was expecting" before raising his voice again.] Thank you.

[Chandelure can be found about anywhere, barring perhaps the inside of people's houses... and can be found multiple times, as doubtless it'll wander off more than once.

In the meantime, as he has as much a chance of finding the fiery light fixture here as well as there, Ingo himself will be wandering around town, that disgruntled New Feather look in his eyes and a giant... axeface dragon...dinosaur thing following complacently behind him.]

[Yep, that's him! He's reaaaallly tall (Chandelure floats higher into the air to demonstrate) and has a face like this! (He pulls on his mouth to indicate a frown.) But Ingo is a nice human. He doesn't get too mad when Chandelure wanders off....]

[Oooh.]

Must be nice to have someone like that looking out for you. He'll be pretty mad right now, right?

[Probably! (Chandelure, why are you laughing....) But he really ought to find him, soon. The more worried Ingo gets, the madder he'll be...]

[Why are you laughing, Chandelure...]

I wonder where he's at... Bet he didn't think to look in the forest, right? Something with fire like you wouldn't be good in places like this.

[With all the snow around, the forest might be damp, so yes, not the ideal place for Chandelure. He's probably in the town at this point, or making his way to the forest. If they headed out, they'd probably run into him!]

At least you can see the houses from here... Come on.

[Then let us head out! Chien knows this ain't a good place, after all, so like hell he'd linger here for longer than necessary now.

Let's meet this Ingo fellow.]

[Yes, let's! Chandelure will continue to follow Chien quite cheerfully, but as they exit the forest he'll swoop here and there a little, to better spot his Trainer. It shouldn't take too long to find the skyscraper of a man, and when they do, Chandelure will glide over to him, making happy noises.]

Chandelure? [Ingo turns, sounding surprised and relieved-- now he can stop awkwardly wandering around! He reaches up to pet the ghost, but his voice turns mildly admonishing.] That was a long wild goose chase you sent me on... Where have you been?

[Ingo doesn't immediately notice Chien, but if Chien doesn't speak up for himself Chandelure will peel away from his Trainer to try and indicate him.]

[Oh yes, Chien was just going to step away--

Or not uh. Yes. Don't mind his kind of awkward feel, he'll never entirely be used to humans or animals being friends with them.]

In the forest. I found him.

[Huh. Well, this boy looks like he's got a fight-or-flight mechanism going on here.. better be as nonthreatening as possible. Or something.

He nods appreciatively.] Ah, I see. Thank you for seeing him back to the village; I appreciate it.

[He turns back to Chandelure.] You didn't cause the young man any trouble, did you?

[Chandelure stares innocently back at his trainer. Of course not, Ingo!! No way! (Except the whole accidentally scaring him part. Whoops.)]

[Fight-or-flight indeed! But Ingo's a friend of a friend, so... that makes him a friend?]

Uh, he didn't cause me any trouble. We had fun coming back to the village. He told me a lot about you on the way.

[Sounds like pretty solid logic right there!]

Did he? [Okay, now Ingo looks amused. What did you tell him, Chandelure....] Well, so long as you enjoyed each other's company.

...May I ask your name? If you're a friend of Chandelure's, I'm sure he'll want to meet up again. [Chandelure chirps a cheerful confirmation.] It would make things easier. I assume Chandelure already told you mine?

Yeah, Ingo. You are really tall... [He's happy about wanting to meet up again, too!

He'll move forward enough to be preoccupied with Chandelure as he gives his name, yeah.] I'm Chien.

Tall... [Okay, Chandelure, he'll give you a wry look for that. Of course you'd tell the boy something like that... ahah...]

Nice to meet you, Chien. [Chandelure swoops back over to Chien to give him more pats on the head. Wahahaha.] And thank you, again, for returning-- and befriending-- Chandelure. [He'll need friends here, considering that most of his previous friends are back home...]

[Patting Chandelure back! Good friends, best friends.]

I don't mind at all, he's really fun. [Is this what it's like to meet your friend's parents? Because it's weird. What do you even say...] Even if the forest's not the best place for a fire creature like him to play.
